Payment and Refunds
Full payment is due up front before any work will begin unless otherwise specified. Due to the custom nature of these products/services, no refunds will be awarded once work has begun. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express.
Turnaround Times
Please be aware we often have a waiting list - you will be made aware of this in advance. Also, design is a creative process and turnaround times can often be hard to predict. Turnaround can be 3 days, 3 weeks or even 3 months and depends on the project and the ease of communication. We try to complete all projects within 3 weeks, but cannot guarantee a specific timeframe. Please be patient and check in with us if you have any questions or concerns.
Cancellations
If for some reason you need to cancel your order before work has begun you must submit a request in writing (via email). We will take your request into consideration and let you know if a refund is possible.
Copyright
Under US Copyright law, the designer / artist is the owner of all files and artwork created for the client. All designs are registered formally with the US Copyright Office. All designs Copyrighted by Ashley Jankowski / For the Love of Creating.
Public Display of Design Concepts
Please DO NOT post your logo concepts on any online forums (public or private) or on social networking sites (i.e. facebook, myspace, twitter). However, feel free to post your final logo anywhere on the world wide web.
Client Usage
Designs may be used for print, web, television or other media. Logos cannot be altered in any way without written permisssion. Pre-Approved alterations include color changes, tag-line removal and the stand-alone usage of the graphic logo-mark portion of the design (such as illustration or initials). Please do not alter the layout, scale or overall feel of the design without written permission.
Final Files
Clients are allowed to choose only one final logo design. Final designs will be delivered electronically and if requested, via CD by mail as well. You will receive the original vector file as well as a layered Photoshop file. You may also request other files, such as but not limited to, png, jpeg or pdf at no additional cost.
Web Design
All web designs remain the property of Ashley Jankowski. General updates to websites will be completed within 1-3 weeks of recieving ALL content needed to complete requested updates. Payments for updates completed on websites are due upon receipt of invoice. If payment is not made within 15 days - designer reserves the right terminate said website. Delinquent bills shall be assessed a $50 charge if payment is not received within 15 days of due date. If amount remains delinquent 30 days after due date, an additional penalty of $150 per month shall be assessed on an ongoing basis until all fees are paid. In case collection proves necessary, client is responsible for for all fees incurred by that process, including attorney fees. If for some reason client acquires another web designer / web master to update site - designed by credit and/or link may not be removed without written permission.
Miscellaneous
All designs, concepts, slogans or other materials displayed by the designer, which are not selected will remain the full property of Ashley Jankowski / For the Love of Creating. All designs / artwork remain copyrighted by Luxecetera, Inc. Prices and Policies are subject to change without notice.Custom logos, websites and business collateral are designed based on our design questionnaire and/or phone consultations. Template Design
Due to the nature of our products, refunds are not provided. All templates are Copyright 2007 Ashley Jankowski / For the Love of Creating and may not be sold, redistributed or given away. All templates are fully layered, high resolution PSD files and are all compatible with Photoshop and Elements, but a basic working knowledge of the program is a must. Most templates are fully editable unless otherwise specified. All fonts used are either system fonts that you will have or free fonts that can be downloaded - all files will be noted with font names and download links. Template packages do not include sample logos and photographs as seen in samples. If files are lost due to personal computer malfunction, files will be replaced only with proof of purchase (i.e. a receipt).
Portraits
For the Love of Creating shall provide photographic services to the best of our abilities in accordance with the selected session type. Every effort will be made to assure your satisfaction according to industry standards and in line with our current portfolio. Any and all artistic visions made by the photographer(s) will be deemed acceptable and correct - this includes creative crops, image enhancements and poses.
Your session fee pays for the photographer’s time and talent only. Sessions can last anywhere from 30 minutes to 3 hours. No other photographic equipment may be used during our session. Outside flashes can have an effect on the images captured at your session. A $50 retainer is due in order to reserve your session date and is not refundable. If rescheduling is necessary, your retainer will be credited to your rescheduled appointment. Remaining portion of session fee is due one week prior session date.
You will be shown a minimum of 20 preview images from your session; however, there is no specific number as to the maximum number you'll see. Any image that does not meet the standards set forth by the photographer will not be shown. Only your best images will be available for purchase. Previews will be shown in both color and black and white and a select few may be shown in alternative edits. We put our very best into each and every image we produce from in-camera, to post processing and final printing. All prints are individually edited, optimized, color corrected, enhanced and retouched before being professionally printed at one of the top imaging labs in the country. A password-protected online gallery will be available for viewing and ordering your images. The gallery will be available for 30 days. If you require more time to place your order, a $25 reposting fee will be charged. You will be given a unique password to access your gallery via our shopping cart system. The gallery may be shared with whomever you would like. The total balance due for any order placed must be paid in full prior to any work beginning on your order placed. Fees may be paid via Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express. All print orders are subject to Georgia State sales tax.
For the Love of Creating / Ashley Jankowski retains all copyright ownership of all images created as a result of your portrait session. Images may not be reproduced, reprinted, duplicated, digitally reproduced, scanned or altered in any way without our written permission. Any unauthorized duplication or publication will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
